I am a Virginia native and moved to North Carolina's Coast twelve years ago

when my husband was transfered to Cherry Point Naval Aviation Depot from

Norfolk. We love the coast and consider North Carolina our home.

As a former 4th Grade Teacher for 11 years in Virginia, I love children. When my two children, a daughter and a son graduated from high school, I decided

to per-sue a career in real estate. As a former educator, I felt it was important

to take my new career a step beyond just obtaining a license to sell by continuing to gain as much wisdom and knowledge as I could about Real Estate so I would be able to better serve my clients. Therefore, I obtained my certificate for the Graduate Realtor Institute, GRI. After working with buyers for 3 years, I took the course and became certified as an Accredited Buyer Representative, ABR. To learn more about the county I was selling in, I went through a 9 week course taught by the Carteret County Chamber of Commerce, called Leadership Carteret where I gained valuable information and history of this county.

Brett has been a lifelong resident of Coastal North Carolina. After growing up in Wilmington, NC he earned an Economic degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He subsequently earned a Master's Captain's license and spent time in the northern Outer Banks in Kitty Hawk, NC. Brett moved to Beaufort a little over two years ago and began practicing real estate shortly thereafter.

Brett is our residential design specialist and can work with you to design your dream home. He uses the latest computer software to create floorplans, elevation drawings, foundations and roof plans as well as what ever else you may need. Even when looking for property what an assest to have an agent with this knowledge

In his spare time Brett works as a volunteer tutor at West Carteret High School as well as volunteer for NOAA's Marine Mammel team assisting on photo ID trips. He has also spent time working in Montana, Colorado, Hawaii, Fiji, The Caribbean and Europe.
